I don't think I have to tell you that this bear hunt is a needless trophy only act for hunters only. I live in bear country and NEVER have I had a problem with the bears and the numbers of them have dwindled in the last few years since the drought. Not only is it dangerous to to injure a bear it is in-humane. It is easier to simply sterilize them while they are asleep. Not to mention killing mothers leaving cubs behind. And killing dominant males who keep younger makes in line. I don't know how this is allowed and surely was passed by people who have no idea! I for one DO NOT want hunters within 450 feet from my property. Downright dangerous. YOU MUST STOP this HUNT and allow the wildlife commission to take proper ad humane measures (sterilization) while the bears sleep.
